It has been a while since I’ve written a new post on here, and there’s a very good (and very CUTE!) reason why. On January 9th, my little girl was born. All 7 lbs. and 14 oz. of her! She just turned 2 months old last week–I have no idea how time goes by so fast!
Taking care of her and her toddler brother while recovering took a lot out of me since my husband couldn’t get off work, and then we all got sick with a nasty upper respiratory infection for 3 weeks. But I have recently started to feel more like myself again, and my energy is *slowly* returning. It’s a good thing too, because I had to return to my job at the hospital after only a 6 week maternity leave.
(Maternity leave is extra short when you just landed the job a month before giving birth!! I found out it’s a state law that companies do not have to give you more than 6 weeks if you have not worked for them for a YEAR, and all I’ll say about that is–it’s the pits!)
But I’m back to work, and back to writing for you all on this blog! If you have a topic of interest within motherhood, saving money, and being a nurse that you’d like me to talk about, please let me know!! I appreciate your input and want to write about topics that interest you. Cause, what’s the point if you don’t want to read it? Am I right or am I right?? 🙂
